Hi,

Getting an electric shower installed above the bath its a completely new installation, water pipes and electric run.

Going to tile the plasterboard walls surrounding myself.

Should the tiling be done before or after the shower has been installed, I would have thought that doing it after the installation would be best, but if not why not?

Tile before. This way means your tiles are right behind your shower and nice and level. Remember that plasterboard needs tanking.

I'm putting in a bath. Should I therefore tile behind the bath line first and then put in the bath so that the bath butts up to the tiles?

thankyou !
John.

I do apologise ! I thought it was better to add to the same query which is very relevant than to create a whole new thread. However, a whole new thread it is then !
