I’m replacing the bath screen and re-masticking the bath. I’ve removed the screen, removed the taps (will be too difficult to mastic with taps in situ as very little space between taps and wall) and removed the old mastic. My problem is that at the tap end, I have an 11mm gap between the tile edge and the bath top. I filled it with mastic last time I did it but Mrs Mottie says it looks like I’ve just squeezed the toothpaste tube out! What would be the best way to fill that gap and mastic? I was thinking of getting some waterproof grout, go all round the three edges of the bath, let it go off for a day, mastic and let that go off for another day before fitting the new bath screen. Is that right or is there another way?

Urgh! Going to fill the gap with waterproof grout and then mastic it. Trim might be a last resort and I may have to cit around taps - they are that close to the wall, but at the moment, that idea is a no from the boss. :(
