We bought bathroom tiles 300*600 porcelain from a multi-branch West London tile store, costing us around £800

It was three months until the job started, and that's when we realised the problem, so they say it's within 5% tolerance, and longer than two days of receiving them.

To me, these tiles have a manufacturing fault, and porcelain doesn't bend over time.

Not sure what to do about it really

Have a look on the manufacturers website and try and find the data sheets which should show the acceptable tolerances. Or ring them up if you can't find them online.

Are you sure they didn't say 0.5% which would be 3mm. 5% would equate to 30mm which would be bonkers.

I think they mean tolerance to flatness of the surface, not to the dimensions, is that what you calculated?

I calculated the bowing dimension for a 600mm tile. Not the size. Though the dimensions would be the same. Though thinking about it it ought to be calculated on the 300mm width which would equate to 1.5mm.
