Hi

I have my bath up to the wall and want to know if I need to leave a 3-5mm gap from the top of the bath to the first row of tiles or just sit the tiles to the edge of the bath?

Steve

remember to fill your bath at least half full before you silicon, leave the water in until silicon has set then remove the water

If you haven't already started it, in my opinion it looks far neater if you use a Bath edging strip, not only does it provide a better waterproof seal but also if you aren't good at cutting your tiles perfectly straight, you won't see the edges, looks far more professional too.

All tiling shops/DIY stores sell them.
