Tiling a part concrete / part wooden floor

Hello to all

Hope someone can help.

I am having a kitchen extension built which will end up with a concrete floor. The adjoining part (existing kitchen) has floor boards. I would like to use ceramic tiles over the complete area so it ends up as one space.

Because of the differences between the 2 floor areas (i.e. concete/wood), could someone out there explain the procedure and best way to go about the job?
