Hi i am going to lay slate tiles in my kitchen but in the old part of the kitchen there is a wooden floor part 94"X 35" Tongue and groove the rest of the old part is concrete and extension is all concrete . The thing is if I put ply down on the wooden part I will have a step from that to the rest of the floor which I don't want , the wooden part goes under a wall to next room and is very stable is there any thing else I could use ?? Maybe a mesh ?? Under the wood part is a cellar which goes under most of my house any help greatly received
