Hello,
I was just reading some posts about preparing walls before tiling a bathroom or shower cubicle.

I've done some tiling at home, and tiled a few bathrooms for friends. I've only ever prepared the walls by painting some diluted PVA, which seems to prepare the walls ok for tiling. I've then used waterproof adhesive and grout, and i've never had any problems.

I was reading that this isn't really the way to go, especially on a shower cubicle. Should I alter my methods, or is PVA really suitable?
