Apologies if this has appeared twice as I'm not sure if the first post worked...
I am waiting for a skim coat of plaster to dry in my bathroom and plan to coat the shower area with Mapei Aqua Defense then tile that area. I want to fix battens to the wall for tiling but am worried that nailing through the Mapei waterproof membrane will ruin it. I wonder if anyone has any good ideas on how to fix battens to a wall that has been waterproofed? I read somewhere on this forum that the holes can be filled with silicone. If anyone has any other ideas it will be much appreciated.
