Tiling around sockets

Hi everyone. I have moved into a house where the kitchen wall has been tiled, but, they have cut round the sockets instead of going behind them.

Now my missus likes the tiles and doesnt want them replaced. The gaps round the sockets are grouted but they look a bit untidy. Can anyone advise me on the best way to solve the problem ?.

I bought some plastic finger plates to fit behind but it looked even worse. I wondered if there was a switched socket available that is a bit bigger than the standard size that could possibly cover the gaps.
