Ok so I have a vanity unit to put in my bathroom. It is 600m wide and the part of the wall it's going up against is also 600m wide. On the left where the two walls meet, I'll be tiling down the side of the unit so the door can open properly. Measurements are fine as tiles will go on another wall kind of behind it which levels it out.

However, the sink is slightly wider, by maybe 5 or 10mm so it has a lip. Should I tile behind and then fit the sink, or should fit the sink and tile on top of it?

My gut feeling says I should tile behind, then fit the sink. But I don't know why. lol
