When tiling between units, where the worktops and units (wall and base) are already in place, can I have some advice please.

Normally, I would ensure that worktops and wall units are spirit level straight and the gap in between suits the intended tiles but all of that has already been done in this case.

In this situation, is it a case of laying the first row of tiles on the worktop and working up to the wall units and cutting the final row accordingly? Or are there some other techniques?

Thanks in advance.

That's what I would do. The only proviso being if you need to take the same tile line e.g. across a window, and then you might want to adjust the height of the tile line to get good spacing if otherwise you would get slithers round the window
