Tiling floors

Hello all,

I`m tiling two floors, one in a bathroom and one in a kitchen. Ive used Mapei water-proof flexi bagged addy and Mapei water-proof flexi gout before for walls, but what type of addy is best for floor tiling ?

I plan to screw 6mm ply down before tiling, but can anyone give me any tips on the project ?

6mm wbp ply is no good for over boarding....


What substrate do you have and what tiles are you fixing?

I believe its floor boards, what is the best thing to over board with ?

the tiles will be something like 8x8.

You believe it's floorboards......!!!

Take it you haven't looked yet.....

Can't give advice until you can be a bit more specific with substrate/joist spacing/spans/thickness ect....

Tiles you propose to fix ect...ceramic/stone...ect..
