Tiling my Kitchen floor...what adhesive shall i use.......

need to lay ceramic tiles in kitchen?


hello i have lifted my kitchin tiles but the bitchumin adesive is solid to the floor iam laying ceramic tiles can i lay them over the old addesion and which mix is best used . thankyou matt

What subfloor do you have - timber or solid.
What kind of tiles were fitted - ceramic, vinyl, cork etc.

Hi There

I have a concrete Floor with small traces of Bitchumin where there were vinyl tiles that i had to get up with a heat Gun, there is minimal traces left so will i just be able to go with standard Ceramic to Concrete floor adhesive?

Yes you'll be fine if there's only a small amount of adhesive remaining.
