Tiling on new skim coat

Hi

How long should i leave my newly skimmed walls in the bathroom before tiling? Just till the plaster colour of the plaster changes or longer?

Also should i apply a sealant e.g. PVA (Diluted??) to seal the walls before tiling.

Lots of differing opinions on this,I normally leave it until it looks dry,depending on weather conditions this can vary from a couple of days to a week or more,also depends on depth of skim.

I would prime it with an acrylic primer in non wet areas and use tanking fluid in the wet ones.
