Hi all,

got a bit of an enigma regarding what to do to cover this gate plate.

I can’t remove it because it runs about 8 inch under the wall so I’ve got a couple of options.

Flags will end where the engineering bricks finish so it’s about an 7 inch to cover.

I was going to make a small rough concrete step with a mechanical fix into the plate where the gate posts have been cut. Then maybe some Victorian quarry tiles as a feature.

1: Any product that will bond concrete to the cast on a wet pour or do I need to preform it and use an epoxy?

2: Will the tiles last given that it’s the end of the water flow from the path?

3: open to suggestions
