It's always best to remove the flooring and replace with exterior plywood(WPB) with plenty of screws as it will keep the same floor level & check for the wood condition, pipe/cable underneath while you're at it

Just so there's no confusion, it's WBP. For those that don't know, this stands for Water and Boil Proof or is sometimes referred to as Weather and Boil Proof.masona said:
overlay current floor with 12mm exterior ply and screw down every 300mm with 25mm screws (turbo gold screws from screwfix best) as that length screw will not puncture any pipes under floor boards and make sure floor boards are sucure before plying
