Tiling over floor tiles

I am shortly going to retile a small floor. The existing tiles are porcelain and the new ones probably the same. Anything special regarding adhesive?

maltaron, good evening.

if it were me, i would be asking the supplier of the new tiles what they would endorse? as an adhesive.

My concern is that if there is any "contamination" on the surfaces of the old tile that may prevent the new adhesive bonding correctly?
