I am about to tile my shower room but the main back wall is uneven on the bottom left running down to the shower tray and runs in leaving an gap. (It is an 1870s cottage). How am I best levelling the wall here to seal with silicone then tile and silicone again?
I had a similar problem with my old cottage walls, I cut into the wall around the shower base by just removing some of the plaster I was able to push the base closer and create a lip above avoiding uneven gaps. Hope this helps. Mike
Thanks Mike,
Have decided to just get my plasterer to bond and skim the wall level as the shower tray has already been set onto the floor with adhesive.
