Hi,
can someone advise me with a correct piece of info.
I will shortly be installing a new kitchen, and will be tiling the floor. Some advice states tile first, install second, while others say install first tile last. Which is correct ?
Also, What do i do regards under my appliances ( washer, dryer, fridge, freezer ). in theory i need to bring them up to the same height as the rest of the floor once its tiled, so do i tile under them or use something else to bring them to the same height.
Help ! :(

if you tile first, the second question is a moo point.

most of my customers have the kitchen fitted the tiled, its cheaper for you in the long run, as you dont have to tile wall to wall.

as far as appliances are concerned, when the tiler arrives make sure they are not there and he (or she, yes there are women who tile!) will tile all of the floor.

hope this helps.

tile the whole floor and be done!

you will NOT regret it.

i think penny pinching in this instance is not money well saved.

having mini troughs beneath the units is absolute pants!
