Hi,

We need to replace some old split floorboards.
The size causes us trouble, they are 20mm thick and 110mm wide with a groove. I cannot see this size at Wickes or Champion.
Where can I find some boards?

Thanks.

Letty

Sounds like they're '1 inch' (actually 22mm) boards with 4 1/2 inch cover -an extremely common size which should be available from any timber yard (your existing boards have probably shrunk a bit).
If the existing boards are very old you may find the tongue and groove are in a different position from modern boards. There's no way around this- you just have to cut off the tongue where old meets new.

ask for ex 5x1" t&g flooring in champions its the stock size the timber is machined from
