Timber or brick shed?

As an annex to my garage, for a few other bits and bobs, I'm considering a shed, something in the region of 8x10ft, so for the sake of it let's just say 3m by about 2.5.

I've been considering getting a decent timber one and putting it down on some eco base, it doesn't really need a 6" concrete base.

But, depending on costs and checking on planning...I'm thinking, maybe a brick one? I think height comes into the planning rules, I don't really know. Brick would be nice, but really depends, I'd probably need a couple of pallets, for the sake of it, I assumed 2m high in bricks, which would maybe be about a thousand bricks, less what I wouldn't lay for the door, maybe make it a bit higher if I can. I'd do a flat roof, like my garage.

I'd get someone in to dig for the base and to concrete it - I just can't be bothered to do that, have done enough of it already this year, but I'm happy building the rest.

Any advice welcome, thanks.
