My mate just sent me this of a place he is working at today, he needed to turn the power off at an old rambling farmhouse. Looks fine to me.

There are at least 3 RCD's, so what's the problem?
 
17 switches ? You would'nt isolate that lot in a hurry ! Earth ? what Earth ?

It looks as if it grew from the centre out over the decades.

Bit of background, property is owned by Oxford University, has essentially had the same tenants for around 90 years, apparently they did try to re-wire it about 20 years ago but the old bid who is now in her late 90's kept chasing them off.
