where would an immersion heater timer be positioned if i wanted it in the kitchen?eg. a 16A MCB in the CU, 2.5mm cable to a 20A DP switch then the timer then 2.5 cable to the airing cupboard then an isolating 20A DP switch connected to the imm. heater by heat resistant 2.5(20A) cable?

if your clever you could get some 20 amp 2 way switches and install 2 way switching.......................

You still need DP isolation. Two ways only switch the live. Think this idea though good would be confusing.
