I've got a Ecotec Plus 831 boiler and thanks to this site was able to download the operating instructions for the timeswitch 140 that came with the boiler.
The problem I have is that I've programmed the timeswitch, everything is in order, but the heating is not coming on at the times desired.
Have I missed something really simple? I've turned the thermostat downstairs in the hall up but still nothing, so it's not as if the house is too warm for the thermo to kick in.
I've scrolled through the times and settings at least three times to see if I'm missing something but it all looks set correctly.
Is it a compatability issue with the thermostat downstairs? The boiler worked perfectly when it was on manual.
