Hi all, this is my first post. I have a vision for my front door but I need help from your good selves to make it happen. I have painted my front door with very yellowy/green gloss and wish to use an emerald green but clear varnish on top for a glowing two tone effect so how can I get a tinted
weatherproof varnish hhhhhheeeelllp!!x

heeelllooo and welcome MikeandHelen :D :D :D

you wont get a two tone effect if you varnish properly you will only add a further even layer on top

coloured varnish "light oak" for example is only uneven because different bits off the wood absorb at different rates and subsiquent coats highlight this

hi thanks for the reply but what I mean is I need a dark green tinted
varnish to paint over an acid green gloss front door so the lighter gloss
shines behind the emerald green top coat.is there any exterior coloured varnish that would cover gloss paint to achieve my dream front door.x
