Tipo stat housing spout

'69 reg 356 1.4 model

The spout has broken off, presumably due to heat fatigue. The local Fiat parts say only the entire stat housing is available, not the spout on its own.

Its got a hex collar so looks to be a screw in fit.

Anyone know where I can get a new spout separately?

I don't know for certain, but my daughter had a Punto once, and it looks remarkably similar. I bought the complete assembly as a replacement made by Wahler for about £30 (which was a few years ago now), when the plastic spout on hers snapped. It came with a brass spout instead of the plastic one. Often, the thermostat itself is a bit tired by the time the plastic goes. I think I got it from Eurocarparts.

I think all the plastic ones break, sooner or later. Might be a pig in a poke?
