Titan Music on Hold CD Player

Are these units any good?? ours has packed up after only 2 years
what would be the best alternative its connected to an NEC PABX system

From what has been said in other forums here a cheap CD player for holding muzak is not going to last long.
Got a old PC handy, that can run music player on a loop?
Got to be the better idea IMHO.

Not a phone "bod" played with a few PABX, each to their own I say.

Thanks for your Input Alarm!! I'll see if i can find a PC to do the job
should be possible to get the PRS Free CD we have to play on the D drive in a loop.

I also know nothing about phone systems , CPA6 Premier & Galaxy however I do know (I used to work fo Lander Alarms-a long time ago!!)

Any CD player will do the job.

Have a look at richer sounds. They bang out decent ones for pretty cheap.

CPA6 wow..............old munford panels, know the others you mention very well.
Also do fire,access and cctv. Automation and PC based systems

The Lander Days were pretty good mind you a lot of on call over a huge area wasn't so good I was based at Cambridge which covered a massive area! which after the "Great Storm" of 1987 proved too much for me I've never known a week like it the pager was going off continuoulsy That made the decision to go into HVAC that much easier!!
