Scrap it. Had a 2006 vauxhall vectra, 1.9/150. DPF went at about 140k, had a brand new one fitted, within a week it had gone again so I sold it as scrap to get back some of what I paid for the DPF replacement.
I know they're popular but I was always ford before that and I've been ford since. What a load of rubbish that car was. Engine faults galore. Auto box wasn't exactly smooth either .
If the milage was 75-100k I'd say do the work but at 150k it's dead money.
