I have a square shower cubicle with three tiled sides and a bi folding door. One of the sides is made with a purpose built wall. The shower does not work and I am going to get someone in to replace it, BUT i feel like a change but unsure if a good idea or not. It is an ensuite, so is very small room. Should I knock the false wall down, get a quadrant shower installed in the hope it will increase the feeling of space, or is what i have the best option and I should just replace the shower. Have a tight budget so would have to do a lot of the work myself, but don't mind. ANy one got any thoughts (before I go knocking walls down!!).

It is your decision and your money, but if you are working to tight budgets and wanting an upgrade then why not just replace the bifold door which would be more affordable and give your bathroom a fresh look. To be honest the sister in law had a quadrant enclosure and it didnt create much more space.
