Hello,

We will be replacing a new boiler soon, which will be power-flushed prior to installation.

Do we need to attach a Magnaclean once the new combi goes on?

Also another minor one, at what point is an inhibitor added? - Before the power-flush/replacement? After the power-flush and replacement? After the power-flush & BEFORE the replacement combi?

The reason I am asking is because we have been told that we don't have to pay the extra cost of a filter when the system is new.

Thanks in advance!

probably refers to the extra time and labour cost of coming back on an extra visit to fit one, if not done while the boiler is being installed.
