Potentially dumb question, so apologies.....
Ma in law got me to lay some 15inch stone tiles on her kitchen floor. Idiot here made a good enough job of it to encourage her to buy more for the bathroom and hall (this is a bungalow).
Hall is currently carpeted, so I've tiled up to the carpet joint strip (with the inevitable cut tiles), and all looms neat enough. Kitchen joins with hall.
Question is, when I tile the hall, do I
a) remove the joint strip and cut tiles, and tile through into the hall
b) leave the joint strip in place and tile away from that
In other words, do I leave the joint strips in place to mark different rooms, or remove it cos it's not necessary?
Many thanks...
