To give you some insight I am 72 Female not in good health. I purchased 2 Oak Veneered Doors and after several months found someone at last to Hang them. Ideally if it had been possible I would have preferred to have had these up on a table lying flat to apply the chosen finish before adding Furniture and then getting Hung. Now I am faced with if I choose to Oil and apply with a Brush I know I will struggle with the up and down on my body and possibley screwing up the finish so I am thinking of applying Wax with a cloth ? Your opinions appreciated

Wax is good but way more effort than oil,once applied it needs polishing up get a decent finish
