Hi guys,
Hoping for a little advice.
I have sanded back some oak kitchen cabinet doors back to bare wood and have painted the front face and sides with BIN, followed by three coats of LG Intelligent Eggshell.
I wanted to keep the back side of the door unpainted, but am unsure what would be best to treat them with?
For ease of application I was considering using a couple of coats of a furniture paste wax. Would this be suitable, or should I use something more durable such as Osmo PolyX?
I have used paste wax on furniture previously that doesn't see too much traffic/wear and have been happy with the finish.
My only concern with a kitchen cabinet door (even on the inside face) is that it could be exposed to some steam or water spills over time.
Would furnuture paste wax be up to this?
