Replaced a hissing toilet fill valve and the new one hisses…..
Any ideas?

If water is flowing continuously then it sounds as though the valve is not closing properly.
Maybe a bit of dirt/grit has got into it or it's not fitted securely.

Maybe some debris then. It started an hour after I fit it.
Flushed 10 times now so hopefully cleared. Annoying.

Just make sure you fitted the top cap properly after flushing out the debris as per the installation instructions
