Toilet Flush Replacement (UK)

Hello all, im new here.

The toilet in my flat has ceased working. I know the part that needs to be replaced but I am not sure exactly of the part name etc. I have been advised there are lots of different versions.

As you can guess im just a regular homeowner with not much knowledge about this sort of thing. I would be very grateful if someone can inform me of the name of the item I need to replace and whether a novice like me is capable of replacing it myself (it looks easy enough)

You would need to make sure the cable is long enough, the ebay item is 475mm, but you can get longer. Also make sure the push button will fit, as your one is an air button which I think are larger.

Looks like an MFI concealed cistern. If so any standard flush valve should fit but you make have to take the WC bowl out and remove the two front panels to fit the new one.
