Hi,

I've got a two button push cistern. When the toilet flushes (using either button) it's too powerful and it ends up splashing drops of water over the seat and beyond.

It's not a major problem, but can look a bit embarrassing when visitors are around, as it makes it look like the last user couldn't aim straight!

Is there any way to turn the flush level down to reduce the splashback? I was thinking that maybe one of Hippo water savers might do the trick by reducing the amount of water in the flush.

Any thoughts welcomed!

Leave some skid and splatter marks on the pan!

It will totally distract them from the splashes !!

Not a lot you can do since it does splash on full flush and short flush, then I would say reducing the water in the cistern would not help..

It may be worth checking that the waterways in the toilet pan are clear(unfortunately could involve removing the poilet) i had this problem recently and the syphon had sucked up debris from the cistern and deposited it in some of the holes in the waterways of the toilet pan, thus creating more of a pressure on the free holes resulting in water squirting over the pan.

Use a mirror to look at the flush inlet holes at the rear under the lip.

OR

Just lift the seat after use!
