Toilet inlet - leaking again - furred up

Pretty sure I've changed this before....

Appears to be leaking due to mould/fur causing a problem.

Luckily, its the connection to isolating valve thats the problem so easy enough to swap out. Still a right PITA.

Anyway to stop it re-occuring?
