Toilet leak

Hi do you mean the fill valve?
Hi, yes that’s the one. Apologies for not mentioning it. I used to come across this often, you have the prongs of the arm from where the washer is too high. Have a look at your original photo for clarity, but I’ve added a photo. Unclip from the lugs, feed arm into lower part to move the float up and down freely and refit lugs.

Aah yes okay! Thank you, when I was putting it back i did get stuck on this part and couldn't remember which section the arms part should be on. I will adjust it tomorrow, fingers crossed it does the trick. Ill let you know! Thanks again

No problem
Hi, so i adjusted the arm and it has worked a treat, the water is now coming into the cistern just fine and it refills fine after flushing too. I have noticed that when the cistern is refilling after flushing, the valve seems to be dripping a little, I've attached a photo with an arrow pointing to where it drips. I wasnt sure if this is okay or if maybe I have made another error

It's been a while since I've worked on one, but think that may be how they work. As long as it stops after filling
