What ho one and all,

I am trying to fish a CAT6 cable from the loft to the g/f office space and the routing will be down a vertical sewer pipe boxing in a cupboard below. The issue is from the f/f toilet, I need to go around 1 meter horizontally through three posi-joists and the entire space is filled with Warmcel insulation. I have managed to get a 1m earth wire through but am unable to find it at the other end. So I am close, but not close enough!

My next plan is to remove the toilet to allow me to drill a large hole in the OSB flooring, which would mean that I have better control over the direction of the fish pole. Removing the toilet is not an issue but since it has been in place for around 15 years, I wonder if the seals (arrowed) are all OK to reinstall? Particularly the two yellow arrowed as they are part of the bend unit. I would give everything a smear of silicone grease before refitting.

Grateful for your opinion; thanks
