Toilet seat fixings

Evening all
I need to swap my toilet seat which is proving harder than I’d first hoped. The toilet itself has the holes for the seat at a curve rather than the holes being flat on the pan. Does anyone have any suggestions or products I can use for a neat finish, whilst still being able to easily open / close the toilet? The current solution isn’t practical as firstly the discs always come loose due to being unable to tighten properly and the opening of the seat itself is restricted.

Changing the toilet pan is not an option unfortunately.

I take it those aren't the original fixings? Perhaps you could mould some white settable substance to provide a flat mount for the fixings?
I'd give a 0 out of 10 for the pan 'design' !

Never seen anything like that before. In your situation I'd be doing the rounds of local plumbers merchants, where you might just find someone who would know where to get the right fittings or suggest a reliable way of adapting standard hinges to your situation.

Pics of how they are mounted to the seat might help. But first impression is that you need to turn the round plates through180 degrees
