Toilet under stairs with fuse board.

Hi all, can someone put me right with this, wanting to put toilet and basin under stairs where there is a fuse board, what are the regs on this, thanks for your time!
 
General regulations and common sense really, do you have any plans and piccys?
The consumer unit needs to remain accessible and out of the way of coming into contact with water or wee.

Thanks for reply, it's a house we are looking to buy so no pics or drawings as yet, just wanted to know if it could be in the same room.
 
Yes, just as long as it is suitable for where it is installed for example it isn't suitable near to the sink or below the bog!!
Alternatively box it in leaving a cupboard door for access to it.

Good advice. Do not urinate on your consumer unit.

Maybe put a cupboard around the electrics?

But, as said, pictures are good. We like pictures. :wink:
