Hi

I wonder if anyone can suggest a solution to my problem. I am about to fit a new wc in my bathroom and the waste pipe seems to be too large for any pan connectors!

The waste pipe is 125mm "or five inches wide" and turns a bend after about 7cm. I have spoken to Multikwik and they have nothing that large. Is there any way to reduce it?

Thanks

Si

Like this you mean?

This is actually an extractor duct reducer but you can get them for soil pipe too. Polypipe do 'em.

You can get concentric (like this) or eccentric which may be more use to you.

Thanks Breesey

Yes that kind of thing would be great. Not wanting to be stupid, but how should I join it to the pipe that's there?

Cheers

Solvent cement, preferably.

Preferably not, solvent cement will only stick plastic to plastic, for sticking to the outlet of your toilet , silicone will be ideal. ;)

I shall clarify:-

Solvent cement, preferably.

BTW, never put either lubricant or silicone sealant on a pan spigot.

Thanks for all your advice. I'm sure I'll get it sorted now.

Cheers
