It’s how a trans female prisoner was transferred to a women’s prison and did what he did: because no one in the system was willing to challenge that fundamental belief. It shouldn’t have taken the Supreme Court to state the bleedin’ obvious, but weaselly politicians went to ground when public opinion turned against them. Nothing against trans people but they are not the same for all purposes as the opposite sex.

Sexual orientation and gender are not the same as biological sex.

The prejudiced have basically lost their argument about orientation, and are now fighting on the front of gender, trying to use the weapon of sex being binary.

It also makes it clear that if a space or service is designated as women-only, a person who was born male but identifies as a woman does not have a right to use that space or service.
