tool for knocking down small garden wall

Hi all,

Bit of a basic question, but I need to knock down a small garden wall, 5 or 6 courses high. Its pretty old and crumbling so I reckon it will be pretty easy but what is the best tool to do it? sledgehammer?

Sledgehammer or small child.

In fact a lump hammer would probably do it, depends on what you have lying around or feel inclined to buy.

Cheers, don't have even a lumphammer so I'll probably buy a small (3kg) sledge hammer

If your going to buy one buy a heavier one as it least it will have a use in the future. something like 10lb

Its very rare i use my small sledges.

I have a 14lb and it get used the most

Lump hammer and bolster and hit the joints , then any bricks left whole you can put on free cycle to save you the cost of a skip or too many trips to the tip.
