toolbar BLOODY THING!

Not sure how but ive managed to expand my toolbar to twice its normal width, and now i cant adjust it back.....HOW DO I DO IT???????

Do you mean the taskbar at the bottom? You should be able to hover your mouse over the top of it (The cursor will change to a vertical line with an arrow at each end), then left click and drag it down a bit.

If you right click on the taskbar and click "Lock the taskbar", it will prevent any accidental changes.

thats the thing. if i hoover over it it will only let me pull it right down to the bottom so it dissapears or expand it upwards. Its currently twice the thickness of the start icon that sits in the bottom left corner!

the word desktop has appeared in it which wasnt there before!
