You are missing out on all sorts 'darn sarf' John.

No Bury Pudding

No Curd Tarts (my Yorkshire granny used to make)

but plenty of posh totty

Palm trees and grape vines in my garden.

there appear to be two Netti in Central Southern England. Never seen either of them.

Point taken John - We lost our 'Posh Totty' when Heather McCartney moved darn sarf. We will all never be the same again.

Palm Trees ! - What are Trees then?
and Grape Vines, aren't they some thing you hear things on like a telephone or something like that?

Old peg-leg is considered rather common down here.

bolo, small supermarket chain though they were nation wide

Nearest one is 148 miles away. Not a problem because I've got a free bus pass. Must leave early though to get home in time for tea!

I've bought tools at Lidl and they have been great. Really hard-wearing and good value for money.

And unless Netto have changed drastically in the last 10 years, they are nothing like Aldi and Lidl.
