Hi,
Hope you can help. We stripped back the floors upstairs and coated them with a hard wax oil. It looks great, and the colour is developing nicely, but it dents and scratches easily. We're now working on downstairs and have ordered some reclaimed pine to match, but wonder if it is possible to toughen up the finish?
Does something like ronseal diamond hard work?
We were looking at Bona Traffic HD but have now been told that this won't make much difference. Is that right?
If possible we would like a Matt finish, but would a gloss finish be stronger, or just show up the dents more and be harder to repair?
Suggestions would be very gratefully received. I feel a bit lost on this one.
Thanks!
