Towel rad - adjust tails/valve

Hi,

I have tails coming out of the wall that were set for a 500mm towel rad. However I have had a 600mm rad delivered (an they are on a 6wk lead time!).

Is this a problem? Would we just put a 90-deg bend in each tail? What type of valve would then be fitted?

You could ammend the pipework with elbows ,but it won't look pretty !! Why not just buy the correct size radiator. Probably won't be using the central heating in a few weeks anyway , summertime is here !!
