Hi all,

I am replacing a standard radiator with a towel radiator. Are towel rads plumbed in the same as normal rads or is there anything else that I need to be aware of? Also is it going to work ok the feed and return pipes come from the floor beneath the rad or do they need to come from the wall behind? Just read a couple of diferent things about that.

Ta,
Jimmy

Towel rails generally require that you buy a set of valves along with them, these can either be straight for floor based piping or can be elbows for the pipes that come out of the wall.

Depending on the width of the previous rad it's likely that you're going to have to reroute the piping a bit anyway in order to make the connections.
