Towel Rail

Been messing with the two pipes at the base of the towel rail,i .e. it gets really hot, so I turned the ( white things with plus and minus on ) about 5 turns to the minus, now the top 5 rails of the rail are cold, so my theory was turn them 5 turns to the plus, but still cold, any ideas..............

P.S. sorry about the description don't do technical......................

Have you tried bleeding the towel rail? Are both valves turned on? Is heating on when you are expecting towel rail to get hot?

yes the towel rail is on now and yes the heating is on, there is a tiny screw at the top, should I turn it ???

yes BUT not all the way, just enough to hear the air hiss out

as gas says (BTW nice one catching him before the barcadi kicks he, he is a buugger when he gets a drink in him ) it needs bleeding

I turned the screw at the top and it is back on again, thanks guys

I am a little happier now............Just ned to sort out teh radiators now.............
